With the chance to climb to the top of the Professional Football League, Gimnasia and Esgrima La Plata will face Defense and Justice this Saturday in a duel corresponding to the sixth day of the match. The match will be played at the Juan Carmelo Zerillo stadium from 20:30, directed by Germán Delfino and broadcast on public television.

The team led by Néstor Gorosito have 11 points and are two behind the leader, Newell’s, following three wins and two draws in five presentations. But that’s not all: accumulate 11 unbeaten games for all competitions. And on Wednesday they moved on to the round of 16 of the Argentine Cup, beating Flandria 2-0 in Rafaela.

In line with the progress of his team, Gorosito will repeat in this Saturday’s duel the formation presented against Flandria and the same one he had also used against Racing and Rosario Central.

For its part, Defense and Justice saw its team decrease with the departures of Gabriel Hachen, Walter Bou, Raúl Loaiza, Francisco Pizzini and Miguel Merentiel, who could be joined by Carlos Rotondi in the next few hours.

This haemorrhage has jeopardized the continuity of Sebastián Becaccece, who will finally remain until the end of the championship, as announced by the coach last week at a press conference. Gastón Togni, the only reinforcement to date, from Independiente, has been called up for this match.
