From 2021 to 2022. From Osaka to Tokyo. A little less than a year. Just under 500 kilometers. Suddenly, the distances between France and Argentina, in time and space, have vanished. Marcelo Méndez’s Selection, Olympic bronze, scored a 3-1 triumph against France in gold in a match valid for the third weekend of the Volleyball Nations League.

In the early hours of Saturday, the Argentine men’s national team completed his third consecutive victory on Japanese soilwhere the third season of competitions in the League of Nations (VNL) is played. The national team achieved a fantastic victory – in an hour and 53 minutes – with runs of 25-22, 23-25, 25-23 and 25-19 at the Maruzen Intec-Arena stadium, with Luciano Vicentín and Ezequiel Palacios as scorers with 17 points each.
