Unión de Santa Fe and Banfield will meet tonight for the 16th final of the Argentine Cup, in a duel that will repeat the commitment that both teams encouraged last weekend for the Professional League (LPF) tournament.
The match will start at 21:10 at the Unico stadium in the city of San Nicolás in Buenos Aires and will be refereed by Lucas Comesaña. It will broadcast the TyC Sports cable signal live.
The winner of this tie will face Gimnasia y Esgrima de Jujuy in the round of 16, who left Racing de Córdoba away (1-0)
The two teams met last Saturday at the Florencio Sola stadium, for the seventh round of the LPF championship and the Unión won 3-2, as guests.
Last March, Unión drew the first series of the federal match, beating Sportivo Las Parejas (4-3) on penalties, after drawing 1-1 in the 90 minutes of regulation, played at Newell’s court.
In the same month, Banfield also moved on to the second round of the last instance, after beating Sportivo Dock Sud 3-1, at the Quilmes stadium, after overcoming an initial disadvantage.
