Uruguayan scorer Luis Suárez is expected this Sunday in Montevideo, where he will be welcomed as an idol in a festive atmosphere and has already been assured that he will play in the “9” shirt when it was loaned to him by Argentinian striker Emmanuel Gigliotti.
Suárez, who will arrive at Carrasco airport in Montevideo around 11 am, will play with the “9” favored by the attitude of Gigliotti, former striker of All Boys, San Lorenzo, Colón, Boca and Independiente, who by his own decision has on that number.
“Gigliotti is a crack, he immediately agreed without problems. Besides being a professional he is an extraordinary being. He made the decision himself and immediately gave the shirt to Suárez”, revealed José Fuentes, president of the Nacional, about the Argentine decision.
For its part, Conmebol has not authorized Nacional to register him with number 9 on the South American Cup list and therefore will use number 8, with young Axel Pérez leaving the payroll, the Tenfield site said.

The marker will arrive in Carrasco and the welcome caravan will depart at the Avenida de las Américas roundabout, opposite the entrance to the “old airport”, following Avenida A la Playa, Rambla capitalina, Boulevard José Batlle y Ordóñez, to culminate in the Gran Parque Central stadium.
At 11:30 am the various access gates to Great Central Park will open for public entry, that a locality has to payto start around noon the musical show that will see the performance of different bands.

The climax will coincide with the arrival of the “Gunslinger” Suárez, who wears the tricolor jersey with the number 9, on the playing field where he will be welcomed by his new colleagues and by the historical glories of the institution.
On Monday, however, the former Groningen and Ajax goalscorer from the Netherlands, Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid from Spain and Liverpool from England will lead the coaching staff led by Pablo Repetto at the Los Céspedes Complex.
According to estimates, on Tuesday he will be part of the squad in the match against Atlético Goianiense, for the first leg of the quarter-finals of Copa Sudamericana, scheduled in Montevideo at 19:15.
