It was a match. The Instituto de Córdoba added three to three in a key duel against All Boys and took advantage of Belgrano’s crash to enter the fight for the first national championship. 2 to 0 for Gloria, but the news does not pass through the great victory of those led by Lucas Bovaglio, but it has to do with an embarrassing situation that occurred during the meeting.

With the Cordovan victory already underway and ten minutes from the end, Nicolás Mazzola and Francisco Gatti have staged a scandal. The controversy, which took place near the substitutes’ benches, exploded on a run by striker Glory, who went to look for the ball against the side and found himself hit hard by the All Boys midfielder.

Mazzola was unable to leave the ball in the field, and when he tried to stop with his run he received a strong push from behind. Gatti went to play the ball with excessive force, and the striker of the local team ended up hitting one of the acrylics in the audience. The result? the glass shattered and a pitched battle ensued at the edge of the playing field.

And it is that the players of the Institute understood that the man from El Albo had been disloyal, and for this reason they went to look for him. Several All Boys players jumped off the guest bench, and that’s where the push began. With Mazzola still on the ground, the fight moved to the playing field, and the police also had to intervene.

The referee, for his part, chose to remain unaware of the fight in which the collaborators of both teams also took part. An exemplary sanction was expected. The judge, Emanuel Ejarque, only decided to warn Gatti. The complaints were not long in coming and the Monumental de Alta Córdoba exploded due to the referee’s decision.

Eventually Mazzola was seen speaking in a rather heated tone with the All Boys midfielder, who seemed to explain that he had no intention of pushing him into the containment glass. In the end the controversy was there and the game could end, in which the Institute added three to gain a foothold in the fight.

In any case, the referee was no stranger to criticism and his controversial performance was put under the microscope. At the end of the game, Bovaglio avoided talking about the judge, but launched: “We could have won with a few more goals, I felt that the match was not at risk. This time we had the reward of the goals we missed in Mendoza. “
