Chicharito flag Mexico.
Javier Hernández is at the center of the controversy. In recent days, some pictures have come out in which he denied a photo to a child after the Los Angeles Galaxy defeat (1-0) against Dallas, by Major League Soccer. And now, a new video has sparked controversy in North America: on the same day a fan asked him to sign a Mexican flag and he not only refused to do so, but ended up throwing it to the ground.
Chicharito’s controversial gesture went viral on social media and it is clear how, after receiving the Mexican flag from a fan, he shook his head “no” and threw it to the ground (he did not return it), then signing the rest of the shirts, posters and other items that the other fans had in their hands, including a jacket of the Chivas de Guadalajara, the club from which he came out professionally. “Did he drop the Mexican flag or is it an optical illusion?” ESPN analyst Rafael Ramos said after sharing the video on his Twitter account.
While most network users criticized what the 34-year-old striker did, there were others who interpreted it as confusion with the owners of the flag, who didn’t fully support it and dropped it. Beyond the opinions, the images went viral and Hernández was once again at the center of the scene.
The Mexican striker, at the center of the controversy.
Chicharito, top scorer in the history of the Mexican national team, has not been called up by Gerardo Martino and most likely will not be at the World Cup in Qatar. This, of course, is not to the liking of the former Manchester United, which could be grappling with the last World Cup in business. Tata, in attack, has opted for players like Raúl Jiménez, Henry Martín, Diego Lainez and Uriel Antuna, leaving aside the Los Angeles Galaxy forward of the MLS.
Another controversy for Chicharito
Even after last Saturday’s game against Dallas, Javier Hernández had a reprehensible attitude with a little fanatic who approached him to ask him for a photo: the video went viral and they destroyed it on social media. The embarrassing moment occurred when a small fan approached Chicharito to take a photo and keep a postcard for memory, but surprisingly the Mexican striker denied.
A fan documented everything that happened and posted the record on the networks, where it ran quickly. And, of course, the criticisms were not long in coming. In the video you can see how a scumbag, wearing a Dallas t-shirt and cap, came running with his cell phone in his hand, hoping to take a portrait with Hernández, but the player did not want to and continued to walk towards another group of fans, where he lent himself to a selfie but from a distance.
Chicharito refused a photo with a small fan.
Several users have been turned on with criticism for their actions. “What a pity”, “Too bad! That guy was all excited, and ready to grab his idol’s signature. And he comes up with that barbarism”, and “These are the idols of the people”, there were some of the responses and interactions in the post. Eye, many others have jumped to defend him by highlighting positive attitudes throughout his career.
