Conflict with Agostino Rossi create a precedent for Mouthand in particular for the football board. After the negotiation for the goalkeeper renewal was frustrated, in the Xeneize they aim to secure several of their figures so as not to have problems in the future. And the first to sign is Alan Varela, who will extend his bond until 2026.

The midfielder lives a nice gift in the team led by Hugo Ibarra, and this will be reflected in his new contract, which provides for a significant wage improvement. The youngster, who already had a link with Boca until 2025, adds another year and also has a millionaire release clause.

Based on the good performances, the midfielder entered the consideration of his coaches in this last semester, and in Boca they put a bounty on his departure: that would be $ 15 million. This will have to pay the team that wants to negotiate directly with the player. The boy is strong and now aims to end the year as an undisputed owner.

Up to now, Varela had a $ 10 million clause. It should be noted that from the environment of the player they point out that he is at ease and satisfied with the minutes he has added. For this reason they begin to leave behind the rumors about possible approaches of Ajax and Manchester City, and the Football Council dreams of having Varela for a while.

so far this year, the 21-year-old midfielder has scored minutes in 23 games, and transformed only one goal: the qualification for the round of 16 of the Copa Libertadores, against Deportivo Cali. It remains to be determined whether the player will sign his new contract today or if he will do it tomorrow. What remains clear is that there is an agreement between the two sides.

Conflicts left behind

It was not easy for the young people to settle in the Primera de Boca. To live this great present, the steering wheel first had to go through several difficult timesof which even the Football Council has been able to be a protagonist.

From that Varela who separated from the first team for an act of indiscipline, to the one who is one step away from stamping the signing to continue in Boca until 2026. Just six months have passed between the two realities, but many things had to happen because Varela regains importance.

With the arrival of Battaglia the youth teams are relegated Jorman Campuzano and Esteban Rolon, and he had to row against the current to start adding minutes. In the end, the possibilities have come, and the steering wheel didn’t waste them.

Unlike Agustín Almendra – separated from the first team along with Varela – the 21-year-old midfielder had the opportunity to play again in the First Division. First, he had to gain confidence in the Reserve, where he played several games. Until, in the midst of a football crisis, Battaglia found answers in his figure.

Since then, the midfielder hasn’t stopped growing. He started against Arsenal in La Bombonerafrom League Cup, and it never came out again. The goal against Colombians in Libertadores has made him a key piece of the team, and he now dreams of continuing to win titles at Xeneize. For now, Europe will have to wait.
