Deportivo Garmense footballer Cristian Tirone, who hit referee Dalma Magalí Cortadi during a match at the weekend, will continue to be detained after justice converted his apprehension into detentionjudicial sources informed today.
The Tres Arroyos Tribunal of Guarantees, at the request of the deputy prosecutor of that city, Gabriel Lopazzo, changed the legal situation of the referee’s assailant in a match in the city of Adolfo Gonzáles Chaves on 31 July.
“Tirone was charged with the offense of minor injuries triple aggravated by treasonfor the victim’s status as a woman and for having been engaged during a sporting event in an ideal competition “, said a spokesperson consulted by the Télam agency.
Right away, the prosecutor of Tres Arroyos will have at least two weeks to hold a final hearing in order to formalize a request for trialthat if accepted, it will be tried by a Corrective Court.
