Luis Suarez scored his first goal this Friday with the shirt of National after his return to the club this week, to put the 3-0 against Rentistas in the match played at the Gran Parque Central for the second date of the Closing Tournament of Uruguayan football.
La Celeste’s all-time top scorer took the lead after a Brian Ocampo corner kick, scoring the third goal of the game in the 58th minute after coming in early in the second half.
The Pistolero’s last goal on the pitch for the Stock Exchange was on June 25, 2006against Rocha, in a game that ended 2-0 in favor of Nacional and which gave him the 2005-2006 Uruguayan Championship title, before starting his career in Europe.

El Bolso had already taken the lead in the first half, with goals from José Luis Rodríguez in the 3 ‘and Juan Ignacio Ramírez in the 42’, so the Pistolero entered a game that his team faced comfortably.
Suárez was very participatory, building the game with the midfielders and fighting a lot of balls.
Rentistas goalkeeper Lucas Machado stifled two clear screams of goal: 83 saved a penalty and 90 was stopped by a spectacular volley that went into the left corner.

This was his second game since returning to Uruguay on Sunday to wear the jersey of his first club, in which he made his professional debut 17 years ago.
On Tuesday, with just one day of training with the main team, he played the last 20 minutes of the Copa Sudamericana quarter-final first leg against Atlético Goianiense, in which Nacional lost 1-0.
The result of this Friday gives El Bolso the first 3 points in the Clausura tournament, after losing 2-1 on the first date against Deportivo Maldonado.
