Argentine tennis player Diego Schwartzmann will face the Greek today Stefanos Tsitsipas for the round of 16 Cincinnati Masters 1000which is played on fast surfaces and will award prizes of $ 6,971,275.
The “Little One”, which is in 16th place in the ATP world rankings, will face Tsitsipas (7) no earlier than 2.30pm (Argentina time) for a place in the top eight of the tournament.
The Argentine has a record equal to the Greek “top ten”, after beating him in Antwerp 2017 and this year in the ATP Cup played in Australia, while he lost at the Conde de Godó in Barcelona 2021 and last April at the Masters 1000 in Monte Carlo.

The 30-year-old Argentine made it to the round of 16 in Cincinnati thanks to two victories, against the Slovak Alex Molcan (39) and the Russian Aslan Karatsev (38).
Should he beat the Greek, Schwartzman will play this Friday in the quarter-finals against an American tennis player: John Isner (50) or Sebastián Korda (52).
The Cincinnati Masters 1000 have the Russian as their top favorite for the title Daniel Medvedev (1), who will play from 14 to the second round against Canadian Denis Shapovalov (21).
The tournament was left last night without one of the great attractions, the Spaniards Rafael Nadal (3), who reappeared after his previous performance at Wimbledon and lost in the second round to the Croatian Borna Coric (152) for 7-6 (11-9), 4-6 and 6-3.
