the Croatian Borna Coricnumber 152 in the world, this Saturday became the player with the lowest ranking able to reach the final of the Cincinnati Masters 1,000after beating the British cameron norrie in the semifinals.

only Romanian Andrea Pavlevwho was a finalist in Paris in 2003 being number 191 in the world, reached the last act of a tournament of 1,000 and ranked lower than Coric.
