Villarreal stormed the Metropolitano stadium with a 2-0 win and dealt a severe blow to the Atletico Madrid. The match saw the participation of Argentines from both teams, many of them men from the national team. Athletic Bilbao beat Valencia 1-0 in the early hours and late Sunday Robert Lewandowski scored his first league double in Barcelona’s 4-1 victory over Real Sociedad.
