This morning the Alfa headquarters was affected by a fire caused by an electrical failure in the sauna of one of the locker rooms usually used by the Argentine national team. The news caused concern in the world of football but, as Clarín learned, there were no injuries or serious injuries, only material damage.
As this is a sports center where different national teams and teams continually meet to train, the news has raised the alarm. And today the Belgrano de Córdoba team trained there. Fortunately, there were only employees on site in that part of the building at the time of the accident. It was also the workers themselves who started fighting the fire.
The only small wound, not serious, was that of the worker who broke the glass of the fire extinguisher box to put out the fire. A few minutes later, the municipality of Ezeiza sent three fire brigade teams to put out the fire.
The cars that moved along the highway that connects Ezeiza with the Federal Capital and with Cañuelas, observed the smoke that came out around the property, which did not cause major inconvenience to the traffic of the highway.
The Belgrano de Córdoba team trained today at the venue. But, according to reports from the club on their networks, the training went smoothly.
