The Women’s soccer continues to make great strides in Argentina and in each one writes a new page of its history. Racing became the first club to transfer money overseas to a player. It’s about the front good dewwho will emigrate to Sassuolo in Italy in exchange for a loan of 2,000 euros and a purchase option of 25,000 euros for the entire season ticket.

Never before has a footballer been transferred in exchange for money. Many had left, but always with the pass in their possession. This time it was different. The 29-year-old striker, who has scored 31 goals in 35 competitive matches since joining La Academia in 2020, is the first player in the country to generate money for an Argentine club.

“It makes me very proud to fulfill the dream of playing abroad and to be able to leave something to this shirt that has given me so much,” said Bueno. “We are very grateful for all that Rocío has given us and it is a great pleasure to accompany her in this new challenge for her career”, said President Victor Blanco.

Daniel García, member of the board of directors and head of the business, said: “We are very happy to contribute to the growth of women’s football in the country and, at the same time, protect and enhance our heritage.”

Bueno will arrive at Sassuolo, who finished fourth last season. The striker, who was part of the squad that played in the recent Alcudia tournament (reached second place), has scored 13 goals in 16 games in the current First Division tournament in Argentina.

As happened at the beginning of men’s professional football, women’s football does not stop its progress and this is undoubtedly a goal that will mark a before and after in the discipline.
