The midfielder bounced back so that Enzo Perez he reversed the game and ran to try to occupy space in the middle of the field, but after a few steps he tripped and couldn’t get up.

When he got up and reached the bench with cotton pads in his nostrils, Aliendro already had his boxer’s face stunned: right eye and nose completely inflamed.

This caused Marcelo Gallardo and all his collaborators to protest, but referee Darío Herrera resumed the game. The curious thing is that official television has never shown a repeat of the show.

What happened is that Aliendro tripped and collided with Alan Varela’s left knee, who even limped. “Don’t take me out”, he managed to tell Gallardo, who grabbed him, sat him down and immediately called Agustín Palavecino to enter the field.

Ten minutes later, the game had to be interrupted so much that the injured cart crossed the field to River’s substitute bench and carried Aliendro, who was dizzy, into the locker room.
