Angelo Di Maria He didn’t have a good afternoon during Juventus’ trip to Monza, as part of the seventh round of Serie A in Italy. Rosario did not perform well and in the 40th minute of the first half he saw a red card and left his team with ten players when the game was drawn 0-0.
Juventus, who were not at ease during their trip to Monza, did not have a great contribution in attack from Rosario who had little participation in the team. And when the first half is over, Di María receives a ball in the middle of the field scored by stopper Armando Izzo.
Di María cannot bear the vehemence of the opponent’s sign and loses his temper: he elbowed the opponent with his left arm on the stomach, which generated an immediate painful reaction from the Monza player, who collapsed on the pitch.
The referee, Fabio Maresca, did not need the VAR to make his decision. The judge showed Di María the red one without hesitation. And despite the Juventus players asking him to review the play on the monitor, the referee showed no cracks in his determination.
