League of Nations: Switzerland gave the surprise and beat Spain as a guest

Spain fell 2-1 with Switzerland this Saturday in Zaragoza in the League of Nations, so they will have to play with Portugal for the transition to the “Final 4” of the tournament next Tuesday.

Manuel Akanji opened the scoring for Switzerland (21), Jordi Alba equalized (55), but Breel Embolo scored 2-1 (58) allowing the Swiss to continue fighting to remain in League A of the Nations League, while La Roja handed over the leadership of the group to the Portuguese.

The Portuguese beat the Czechs on Saturday and finished at the top of Group A2 by two points over the Spaniards.

La Roja will have to win on Tuesday in Braga on the final day of the Nations League group stage if they are to be among the last four of the continental tournament.
