Rosario Central, who hasn’t won in three games, is looking to return to victory this Sunday by hosting Platense, in a game that is expected to be important for next season’s averages. The duel is played from 3:30 pm at the Gigante de Arroyito stadium, with the arbitration of Silvio Trucco and ESPN Premium television.
The central comes from a goalless draw as a guest of the Patronato and a goal at home against Estudiantes, who equalized with a conversion by striker Franco Frías at the last minute.
Previously, they had lost 2-1 as guests of Argentinos Juniors and had beaten Talleres 1-0, at home, with a goal from striker Alan Marinelli.
Central adds 24 points and is far from qualifying for the Copa Sudamericana.
In the lead will be Platense, fresh from the 1-0 home defeat with Racing, which has 29 units.
Platense averages 1,167, a product of 84 points, and is also far from qualifying for the Copa Sudamericana.
