The death of Mahsa Amini at the hands of the police it has generated massive protests in Iran and a social situation that seems to get complicated as the days go by. This situation was not lost on the players of the football team who protested in different ways during the friendly against Senegal and that ended 1 to 1.

The meeting took place in BSFZ-Sand located south of Vienna, Austria. The first sign of protest was seen when the players entered the playing field, since they entered with a full black jacket -except for the sponsor’s logo- to cover the shirt’s shield. At the time of singing the hymn, although there were a few musicians outlining the verses, the vast majority remained silent and even looked down.

18 minutes in the second half, sardar azmoun he equalized the game with a header, but when it came to celebrating he did not flinch, in fact the Bayer Leverkusen striker expressed himself on social media and completely repudiated the incident. The truth is that, from their place, the footballers joined the demands of the police action that ended Mahsa Aminii’s life.

In addition to what happened inside the field, on the outskirts of the stadium it was possible to see people complaining about the deaths that occurred in several protests due to the repression of the police forces.
