The Game Awards 2022: God of War Ragnarok and Elden Ring lead the ‘Video Game Oscars’ nominations

Game prizes 2022, popularly known as the “Oscar of video games”, will once again be the last big event of the year for the digital entertainment industry. Host and organizer of the evening, Geoff Keighleyannounced this Monday all the candidates whose protagonists are God of War: Ragnarok and Elden Ringalso leading with ten and seven nominations, respectively.

The latest exclusive for PlayStation 4 and 5 consoles, God of War: Ragnarok, stands out in the GOTY (Game Of The Year) category, where it will compete against A Plague Tale: Requiem, Elden Ring, Horizon Forbidden West, Stray and Xenoblade Chronicles 3 .

The work released on November 9 was also included in the categories Best Game Direction, “Best Narrative”, “Best Art Direction”, “Best Soundtrack and Music”, “Best Audio Design”, “Best Action/Adventure and Innovation in Accessibility ” .

They have also received nominations Judge Christopher for his role as Kratos, God of War, and the young man sunny suljicrepresenting his son Atreus, both in the “Best Performance” category.

Another candidate for “Game of the Year” is the open world title Elden ring which saw a number of similar nominations, which featured him for ‘Best Game Direction’, ‘Best Narrative’, ‘Best Art Direction’, ‘Best Score & Music’, ‘Best Audio Design’ and ‘Best Game of role”.
