Google ads, the technology multinational’s advertising service was down for at least half an hour worldwide due to an unspecified failure. The tool started to resume its activity on Thursday night.
“We are investigating various reports on an issue that occurred with Google Ads Manager. We will soon offer more information about it, “the company officially communicated from the service page.
Faced with the outage, “Affected users have access to Google Ads Manager, but find error messages, high latency or other unexpected behavior,” they pointed out the failure.
Therefore, they confirmed that the admin tool “it is not serving ads to interested users.” That message was published in the English version of the service at 22:06 this Thursday, Argentina time.
Over time, Google Ads went partially down in some regions — which the company didn’t specify — and then started to roll back globally.
However, Google Ad Manager has continued to decline, within the broad services provided by the search engine tool.
As defined by the company itself, “Google Ads is Google’s online advertising program” through which “you can create online ads to reach people at the exact moment they are interested in the products and services you offer”. The decline in service was visible on media sites, which saw banners provided by the online advertising system inactive.
