September is traditionally the “month Manzana” within the mobile industry. His key notethe event where he usually presents new products, will have at iphone 15 in the starring role. The new family will be accompanied by an Ultra version which, among other things, promises better cameras and more power than the current Pro.

Pending the official announcement, Apple currently markets the iPhone 14 Pro Max in the premium range, which technically isn’t much better than the iPhone 14 Pro; albeit with the main differences being screen size and battery capacity. But Apple may be looking to differentiate its flagship devices from the future iPhone 15, based on the new iOS 17 revelations.

As leaked by the LeaksApplePro site, the iOS 17 source code reveals that the iPhone 15 Ultra, which will likely replace the iPhone 15 Pro Max, would have more advanced image processing software than the iPhone 15 Pro, as well as the rest the iPhone 15 series.

Even if the camera hardware is the same in the 15 Ultra and Pro versions, the iPhone 15 Ultra would have a significant advantage in the photographic sector.

It may also get more out of its new processor, and the source adds that the Ultra’s performance won’t be limited by software like it is on the Pro model. These performance caps are in place for stop phones from overheatingso if that’s true, presumably the iPhone 15 Ultra should have one as well better cooling system.

The rest of the news points to an iPhone 15 line that would receive the Dynamic Island function entirely (Dynamic Island, which debuted in the latest Pro versions) instead of a notch, and that although all will apparently use USB-C, both higher models will offer faster data transfer speeds (similar to USB 3.2 technology).

As for the upcoming iOS 17 operating system that will accompany the next family, it would not have too many visual changes, although the company’s focus would be to ensure even more stability and efficiency.

On the other hand, the iPhone 15 -perhaps some models- will apparently support Wi-Fi 6E, the wireless connectivity standard that began to spread in 2022, according to the specialized site MacRumors. This would add support for 6GHz Wi-Fi, which is faster, but only when connected to a compatible router.

The Ultra version could also have some novelties in the design, since it would cover a titanium frame and a dual-lens selfie camera.

All these improvements will definitely have their impact on the market basically because it should be the best iPhone of all so far with a price tag that will break the $1000 barrier in its base configuration of 128GB of storage.

emergency update

Also, for some older models, Apple had to update due to a security issue.

A number of Apple mobile devices are the new target of cybercriminals, as recently admitted by the Apple company. Those who have one of the iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, or iPhone 6 Plus models will need to download a new key security update to protect their device.

A newly discovered vulnerability, which also affects some iPads, such as iPad Air, iPad mini 2 and iPad mini 3, was recently discovered by Google’s Threat Analysis Group.

According to researchers at the internet giant, the vulnerability could allow attackers to trick affected users into visiting “malicious web content”.

To thwart any intrusions, Apple has released an iOS 12.5.7 firmware update that protects these six affected devices.

If you haven’t enabled automatic updates, go to the Settings app and then General > Software Update. Similarly, in the “Automatic Updates” section, “Download iOS Updates” and “Install iOS Updates” must be activated. This will automatically update your device to the latest version of iOS or iPadOS.
