The secure chats folder will appear above the archived folder and will be protected with a password or biometric data. As Zuckerberg has indicated, notifications from chats archived in this new section will reveal neither the sender nor the content of the message.

“We think this feature is great for those who occasionally need to share their phone with a family member, or when someone holds your phone at the exact moment you get a special chat.”

To block the chat you must touch the name of the person or group in question and select the “block” option. To access it, all you have to do is drag slowly down the inbox and enter your password or biometric data (such as fingerprint).
