The Congress of the Association francophone pour le savoir (Acfas), which is 89at edition will be held until Friday, fully taking place online again this year, due to the pandemic.
Organized in conjunction with Université Laval, the event will roughly bring together approximately 4,000 participants from about thirty countries. They will look, in French, at the latest developments in science across 200 conferences and 600 free communications in fields such as education, correspondence, art as well as health, human and social sciences. and natural.

A historical edition
This edition has a historical dimension, as it marked the launch of the 100 celebrationsat anniversary ofAcfas, created in 1923 under the name of the French-Canadian Association for the Advancement of Science. The non-profit organization was renamed the Association francophone pour le savoir in 2001 and, from May 2019, was simply called Acfas. Two symposiums will feature the organization’s contribution since it was created and focus on its future.

Next year the 90at Congress ofAcfas will be organized by HEC Montreal, Polytechnique Montreal and the University of Montreal.
