The hustle and bustle of the City of London: three people stabbed

Several people have been stab wound Thursday in Bishopgate in the City of London.

The incident is not currently believed to be related to terrorism. The carabinieri arrived on the spot and cordoned off the area.

Three people were stabbed and a fourth person was pushed to the ground at 9:46 am. So far the attacker is still on the run and they have closed the area.

The agents arrived on site at 9:51 am. Three of the victims were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The attack happened later a bicycle thief was challenged by peopleless than 200 meters from a City of London police station, witnesses said.

The memory of the attacks

One man said he saw four people “badly injured” when passing through the Liverpool Street Station area, on a bus. It was one of the places where a terrorist attack occurred in the first wave of attacks on the London Underground and train stations.

Another witness stated that “the attack lasted two minutes” and that the incident took place less than 200 meters from the police station of the city of London. He said that “the authors fled”.

Another said four people had been “randomly stabbed.” Other witnesses said those stabbed werewith whom he tried to intervene.

The incident occurred in the vicinity of 22 Bishopgate, where one of the buildings the highest in the city.

A spokesman for the City of London police said: “We are aware of an incident this morning in Bishopsgate. Our agents are assessing the situation at the scene.”

The employees of the Municipalityand they had begun to get to their work when the attack took place. They started posting messages on social networks to inform them that they were fine and doing well.
