Netflix will present a preview of a new miniseries of documentaries on the case of Jeffrey Dahmertitled “Conversations with a Killer: Jeffrey Dahmer’s Tapes”. It will be based on a series of recordings in which the serial killer talks about his crimes and his victims.
There will be three episodes produced by Joe Berlingercreator of the series “Conversations with a Killer: The John Wayne Gacy Tapes” e “Conversations with a Killer: Ted Bundy Tapes”and should last about an hour.
What time will the new Jeffrey Dahmer series debut?
According to Netflix, this docuseries will be available on October 7 at 12 p.m. PT and 3 a.m. ET.
After what was the huge success of “Monster: The Story of Jeffrey Dahmer”which reached approx 200 million hours viewed in the first week on the platform, this new production will not focus on an imaginary perspective, but will have testimonies from people who have experienced the case closely.
Even so, all was not rosy for that show: it was strongly criticized by some sectorsmainly relatives of Dahmer victims and the LGBTQ + community, as they felt the production was not empathetic with them and had been classified as LGBT content.
This new documentary series will feature the testimony of Jeffrey Dahmer’s attorney, Wendy Patrick, from when she first met him until her trial in the 1990s. According to Patrickus, there is about 32 hours of material Registered without publication.
