After Russia launched missiles at Ukrainian cities, a spokesperson told Reuters on Monday that the International Committee of the Red Cross has temporarily halted its work in Ukraine for security reasons.

“For security reasons, our teams have stopped operations today,” a spokesperson said in an emailed response to a Reuters question.

The Norwegian Refugee Council also said it was suspending aid operations until it was safe to resume.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said today that the wave of bombings was “unprecedented” and hit, in addition to Kiev. Lvivwest, dniproin the center, Vinnytsia, sumi, Kharkov and zaporizhzhiain the south.

According to the latest information from rescue teams in Ukraine, at least five people were killed and 12 injured in Kiev. The Ukrainian military claims 75 missiles were launched by Russia this morning in addition to Iranian Shahed drones.
