Deadly attack: The president of the Mexican Hunting Federation died while trying to hunt a buffalo

The buffalo was not killed by the blow and so, in response to the attack, accused Najjar several times with his horns until the tour guide who accompanied the Mexican shot the bovid five times and managed to separate it from the hunter.

As a result of the attack, Najjar suffered several rib and sternum fractures, as well as retroperitoneal hematomas. He went into shock and died a few minutes later in a van on his way to the hospital.

Najjar had to be transferred to the nearest clinical center in a private van because emergency vehicles could not get to where he was.

This was assured by the Prosecutor of Entre Ríos there will be an investigation into the case and took the statements of the three Mexican friends who accompanied Najjar, taking into account that, although the area would have permits to carry out hunting activities, the buffalo, being a wild animal, cannot be killed.

He was also a lawyer, graduated in law from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), founded the firm Canales Najjar y Asociados in Mexico City and was vice president of the United for a Sustainable Management of Our Biodiversity association.
