LIDOM: when does it start and what are the key dates for the 2022-2023 season

The Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM) It already has its official calendar for the 2022-2023 season dedicated to the memory of the chronicler Tomás Troncoso Cuesta. The regular role will start on October 15th and end on December 16th, reverting to its usual 50-game format that had been cut in previous campaigns due to the pandemic.

Within the aforementioned period there will be a total of 10 days of rest, including Thanksgiving, in addition to December 3, 4 and 5, the same days in which the All-Star Game of the National Federation of Professional Players (FENAPEPRO) will take place.

For its part, the postseason of the circuit will run from December 18 to January 25, the latter as a possible deadline for the conclusion of the Final Series, passing through the play-in matches and the mini-playoffs, if necessary, in addition to the Round Robin.

Eastern Stars vs Eastern Bulls, 19:00 Francisco Micheli Stadium.

The dates of the season

October 15: start of the regular series.

3, 4 and 5 December: FENAPEPRO All-Star Game.

December 16: end of the regular series.

December 18: start of the postseason (play-in and mini-playoff).

December 22: Start of the Round Robin.

January 18: Start of the Final Series.

January 25: possible game 7 of the final series.
