After that time, he and the army would declare the case null and even arrest the ministers of the Supreme Court. While it would turn out to be a lie, why was this story about deadlines invented?
Here it is: because the goal is to increase public opinion of these blocking points, to multiply them across the country. In the coup plan, Bolsonaro thought that if Lula won (and if Lula did!) he would suspend the elections or stage a coup himself, the turmoil that spread across the country was crucial.
