North Korean leader congratulates Lula on victory: ‘I wish him good luck’

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un congratulated Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT) on his victory over current President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) in the election last Sunday (30).

The message was republished in a statement issued by the North Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“I congratulate you on your election as President of the Federative Republic of Brazil,” the North Korean leader began.

Expressing my belief that the friendly and collaborative relationship between the two countries will be developed and strengthened in line with the needs of the age, I wish him success in his new position.
