A criminal lost his left arm after a homemade bomb exploded in Jaén, Peru. The man intended to throw the explosives into the home of a businessman, who he had extorted for a few days, according to local media. According to police, the man was identified as Jhuan Albert Horna Alarcón, 20, who had a history of other crimes.
As if it were karma, the criminal was extorting merchants in Peru and was left without his left arm after a bomb exploded while holding it.
Images of the incident were captured by a security camera when the criminal got off his motorcycle to throw a homemade bomb at a house owned by one of his victims.
However, before committing the intimidation, the bomb exploded while he was still holding it, removing his left arm.
In shock and with his hand dismembered, he ran down the road until he reached his accomplice’s bike to escape. The driver had no choice and took him to the hospital, as he not only lost his left hand but also sustained severe injuries to his abdomen.
Due to the explosion, the businessman and neighbors left in alarm to corroborate what had happened. They found only glass in the door and windows scattered on the street. Upon seeing the security camera logs, they learned of the fact.
According to information provided by the police, the criminals had left a message to the owner of the house, asking for a sum of money that the businessman had refused to pay, which would have led to the failed attack.
