A plane crashed into Lake Victoria, Tanzania, on Sunday. The plane is owned by Precision Air.
Local officials say the plane was carrying 39 people (38 adults and one child). The survivors were taken to the hospital for medical attention.
Precision Air said 26 people had been rescued and no deaths so far. The plane was from Dar es. high school for Two cities in Bukoba, Tanzania.
Rescuers are trying to pull the plane out of the water with ropes.
The local media of Tanzania, TBC (Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation), claims that the plane crashed into the lake in heavy rain.
The President was saddened by the accident: Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu offered his condolences for the plane crash and called for calm as authorities continue to rescue victims.
