U.S. Air Force officials recently denied deliberately drawing a penis near a Russian base.

An American Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft was spotted by netizens after a weather radar website made a phallic design near the Russian military structure between Lebanon and Cyprus.

Ryan Goss, captain of the U.S. Air Force in Europe, told the military newspaper Task and Purpose that he denied any intention of drawing and said his crew was operating “to the highest standards of professionalism”.

Operating in the Eastern Mediterranean, the KC-135 Stratotanker had to adapt between different routes during a mission. “While these adjustments seemed to form a rough contour, it was not the drivers or unit’s intention to do so.”

Damien Pickart, the main spokesperson for the US Air Force Command, reinforced his colleague’s speech to the broadcast. “We are aware of the incident and are speaking to the KC-135 team to determine the details.” “At this time we do not believe that the crew has behaved inappropriately and are flying in a trajectory that complies with the requirements.”

Despite the authorities’ reasons, netizens criticized the action, accusing the US of wasting fuel paid for by taxpayers. “It’s dangerous and amateurish,” said one Twitter user. “We are polluting the air with our taxes and a possible military disaster on the way,” said another.
