Possible presidential candidate DeSantis re-elected as Florida governor

According to US media, Republican Ron DeSantis, a possible opponent of former US President Donald Trump for the Republican presidential nomination in the 2024 election, was re-elected as governor of Florida this Tuesday (8).

DeSantis, 44, a rising Republican star, has surprisingly prevailed over ex-governor Charlie Crist, a former Republican who switched parties, in this conservative state, according to ABC and CNN.
