Russia wants to make Kherson a “city of death” and accuses Moscow of planting explosive mines in everything from apartments to sewer systems and of plotting to bombard Ukraine’s southern city from across the Dnipro River, Ukraine’s president’s adviser said on Thursday. . .

Presidential adviser Mykhailo Podolyak made this comment a day after the Russian defense minister ordered his troops to withdraw from Kherson and take up positions on the defensive lines on the opposite bank of the Dnipro.

“The ‘Russian world’ looks like this: it came, it stole, it celebrated, it killed ‘witnesses’, it left ruins and it’s gone,” he wrote on Twitter.
