Foreigners in the protests
Iranian authorities said on Monday they had “evidence” of the attack participation of foreigners in the protests in the country and passed the information to their respective countries.
The Iranian authorities consider the protests “riots” encouraged by Western countries, especially the United States.
“As regards foreigners detained in Iran in connection with the unrest, evidence and explanations have been provided to the affected countries,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Naser Kanani told reporters in Tehran.
