Gun attack on LGBTQ bar in the US state of Colorado: 5 dead, 18 injured

Police announced that at least five people were killed and 18 injured in a shooting at an LGBTQ bar in Colorado (in the western US).

“It is with regret that I have to report that we have engaged in a gunfight at a local bar tonight. At around 11:57 PM (02:57 PM GMT on Sunday), we received an initial call to report that a gunfight was ongoing. Police spokesperson Pamela Castro told a local aide known as ‘Club Q’. at the club,” he said.

The police officer stated that agents “found” a suspect inside the bar.

“There are 18 injured and five dead,” the spokesperson added.

‘Club Q’ said it was “devastated by the senseless attack on our community”.

“We are grateful for the quick response from the heroic bosses who suppressed the shooter and ended this hate attack,” Bar wrote on his Facebook page.
