“Y Maluma” was trending on Twitter because many people expected the Colombian reggaeton player to appear before the match between Qatar and Ecuador. The truth is that the singer performed in the host country but a day earlier to open the fan fest. The confusion had to do with it.

The Colombian sang some of his hits and his new song “Tukoh Taka”, specially composed for the meeting point of the fans at the World Cup. In interpreting it he was accompanied by the Lebanese Myriam Fares and the American rapper Nicki Minaj.

The inauguration of Qatar Fan Fest 2022 came after the opening of the beer sale where Mexicans stood out with their great atmosphere.

Hours before his presentation, Maluma had experienced a tense moment during an interview with an Israeli journalist. After the reporter asked him about human rights in Qatar, the singer got angry and cut off the note.
