Netflix premiered a new film starring the famous actor Jason Momo. It concerns “The Land of Sleep”the new feature film directed by Francis Lawrence.
Critics have received it coldly, as they argue that the story was not very attractive and criticized the use of special effects to cover that flaw. However, it is widely seen on the platform, as it continues to grow in plays.
What is Slumberland all about?
The story follows a girl named Nemothat after the loss of father is sent to live in a city with her uncle, played by Chris O’Dowd. There, due to his sadness at the dramatic change in her life, his only escape from reality is through dreams.
She manages to discover a map that leads her directly to sleepy, a world hidden among dreams. In this place you will meet Flip (Jason Momoa), a strange character who will accompany her during her adventures in this particular world, looking for one last encounter with her father.
