(Reuters) – Russian forces bombed 30 sites in Ukraine’s southern Kherson region 258 times in the past week, President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Monday.
Russian forces withdrew from the western bank of the Dnipro River earlier this month, but are shelling towns and villages, including the town of Kherson, from new points on the opposite bank.
In the evening’s video talk, Zelenskiy said Russian forces also damaged a pumping station that supplies water to the town of Mykolaiv, northwest of Kherson.
