A Scottish woman winced when she realized that the bubble that appeared on a bunch of bananas she bought from the supermarket was actually a spider’s nest with tiny eggs ready to hatch.

A mother of three was returning with a strange-looking bunch from a Waitrose supermarket in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK, and when she poked a little at the strange ridge on the peel of one of the bananas, she discovered that the banana was full of spiders. .

“I was unpacking groceries when I noticed the weird bubble-shaped mark on the bunch of bananas,” the woman told EdinburghLive.

The woman, whose name is simply Michelle, said she had asked her husband, Martin, to help him assess the strange bulge on the banana.

After the couple saw one of the bananas packed in plastic bags crawl out, they noticed spiders inside, causing Martin to attack it with a fork.

After putting the banana peel in the sink, Martin accidentally released hundreds of baby spiders.

“I thought it was an urban legend to find spider nests in store-bought fruit, but after taking a photo and zooming in, you could see a spider crawling out,” the man said.

“After that, I dreamed that the mother was taking the puppies for a walk and she was suddenly gone. I was itchy all over when I woke up,” says Michelle. “I’m not sure if that’s harmful, but that scene made me stop eating bananas for a while.”
