Blizzard’s beloved dog has been part of the family for nearly eight years of his life since he was a puppy and he has not yet shown signs of aggression.

Jodie said the police who first arrived at her home after the attack agreed that what happened was an “accident”, and initially they decided to keep the animal but caution of all kinds.

However, after Jodie –mother of eight children– changed his mind and insisted that he could no longer trust the animal inside his house, so he was handed over to an institution to be relocated.

Jodie said: “Blizzard has always been a family dog ​​that loves to play, loves to be messy and wants to get involved in everything. He is a kind and gentle dog and the children loved him unto death. He’s Romy’s best friend, though. “
