An employee of the Ukrainian embassy in Madrid was slightly injured in an explosion this Wednesday (30) while holding a letter, police sources told AFP.
“At around 1:00 pm today, the National Police received a warning that there was an explosion at the Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid. This occurred while one of the embassy staff was handling a letter,” the sources said.
“The worker was slightly injured at the beginning and made his way to the hospital,” they added. “The National Police, with the involvement of the Judicial Police, are investigating the facts.”
Police cordoned off the embassy site in a residential area northeast of the Spanish capital.
