Fatal accident in Turkey. Last weekend, a dog killed its owner, a 32-year-old man, while he and other friends were returning from a hunting trip on the Kizlan Plateau in Samsun, in the north of the country. The death, at least suspicious, is under investigation by the police. How can a pet kill a man with one blow?

Specifically, and according to various local media outlets such as Takvimthe dog allegedly accidentally fired the hunter’s rifle by pulling the trigger with his paw when he jumped into the trunk of his vehicle. The event occurred when the victim and his hunting companions were already depositing the material in their cars before ending the day.

The victim, Ozgur Gevrekoglu, 32 years old, received a bullet hit in the stomach and was immediately transferred to Alaçam State Hospital, although doctors were unable to save his life. The local media also report it the deceased man had become a father only 10 days ago.

Local media add that although the main hypothesis is that of the accident with the dog, the police continue to investigate the event. In fact, according to the Turkish agency Anadolu, the security forces initially arrested one of the friends who was part of the hunting group, 38 years old and who has not been identified, although he was later released.
