According to Lavrov, Western support includes sending large numbers of mercenaries to Ukraine and intelligence to identify the targets of the Ukrainian armed forces.

Today, the Italian Council of Ministers meets at Palazzo Chigi in central Rome to discuss the extension of military aid to Ukraine.

So far, Italy has sent five packages of military aid to Kiev and is now preparing the sixth shipment. The expectation is that the authorization to transfer “vehicle, material and military equipment” to Ukraine will be extended “until 31 December 2023” and “depending on the direction of the Chambers”.

The project also ensures that the “deadlines” and “methods” set by the Mario Draghi government decree until the end of 2022 are maintained.
