After the images went viral, Al Shareef Holding apartments coordinator Sarah Khalaf said: “There was a lion cub on the balcony of a house. As soon as we found out the tenant was asked to leave and take the little lion away as soon as possible because it is forbidden”.

The tenant of the apartment removed the lion, which meant another concern for the animal protectors as the cub, aged about three months, It looked in bad shape as confirmed by a Qatari vet to the English Mirror.
