One of the trucks of the iconic Coca-Cola Christmas convoy caught fire as it passed through Romania in Europe. No one was injured in the fire that broke out in the vehicle in Bucharest, the capital of the country.
A video shared on TikTok by Stan Dumitru Arthur shows the moment the flaming truck drives down a city street.
At the end of the video, vehicles of the Bucharest Fire Brigade, determined to put out the flames, are seen. The company did not disclose the causes of the accident.
According to the British newspaper The Guardian, Coca-Cola reported that despite the accident, the show will be guaranteed on weekends, as the company has several trucks for Christmas trailers.
The convoy tour in the UK continues at full speed. The demonstrations started last Friday (25/11) at the Bluewater shopping center in Dartford, Kent, and went to Sainsbury’s in Beckton, east London, on Saturday and Sunday.
Belfast in Northern Ireland will host the convoy on 16 and 17 December, while Dublin in the Republic of Ireland will host a three-day season between the 8th and 10th of Christmas.
Probably one of the best things about the tour is that you can get a free sample of the drinks while visiting the event.
The tour was canceled in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, but returned on a smaller-than-normal scale last year, with dates and destinations announced only a day earlier to avoid Covid-19-related cancellations.
