Pranabashish Banerjee, doctor and professor at the NRS, told the British tabloid Daily Mail in a statement to .
After the procedure, the Indian was taken to a shared bed with stable health. According to the doctor, it is normal for the patient to be taken to the intensive care unit in such operations, but in this case it was not necessary.
The Indian newspaper The Times of India reported that police are investigating how the accident occurred, as the victim and his colleagues who took him to the hospital did not disclose the circumstances under which the trident fell on Bhaskar’s neck.
