A young man takes a little trip into the past when he discovers a secret vault in his new home where relics and other strange objects dating back to the 19th century are kept.

According to the New York Post, Luca Hillier had moved to a house in Stafford (USA) and while researching different rooms, he noticed something strange on the living room floor. After checking, he detected a hole in the ground.

The two boys mustered up their courage and went down the secret passage to an old cellar. In the abandoned area were several glass bottles of spirits with old labels indicating that they were for whiskey and brandy and that they were from the 19th century.

The two friends were surprised to find a container from 1880 named after Francis Clarke, the former mayor of Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. In the video, Luca Hillier shows that an inscription on the bottle says there is a bloody mixture inside.

The duo also found some boots in the abandoned basement, which they believe may have belonged to the former owner of the property at the time.

In the pictures, the old cellar was also in poor condition, with a lot of dirt and signs that it was not well maintained. Even so, its structure is apparently intact.

The adventure brought many surprise reactions. “Please check that there are no human remains lying around,” said one user, concerned about a possible spooky past in the home.

One woman added: “I was worried you’d find a skeleton in the shoes.”

A third said he would be thrilled in a similar situation: “It’s pretty amazing. I’d love to find something like this. Go through every little piece of paper and find something great, enjoy.”

Some users noted that found bottles could cost up to R$1,000 if they were put up for sale.
